2009 TriArt Festival

The TriArt Festival was created to increase the awareness and appreciation of San Pedro as a vibrant, sophisticated venue for all aspects of the arts including sculpture, folk art, dance, music and theater and showcase the changing face of San Pedro as an artistic center and designation for leisure time enjoyment.
The third Annual TriArt Festival will take place September 12/13th, 2009 along Mesa Street in historic downtown San Pedro. The festival hosts artists, dance performances, musicians, classic cars and a classic movie.
We don't have all
details yet, but we have selected the movie and found our featured artist. The movie is:
Roger and Hammerstein's THE KING AND I (1956)
Staring: Deborah Kerr and Yul Brenner with Rita Moreno.
Songs: Shall We Dance, Something Wonderful, Hello Young Lovers
Our featured performer is Aaron Caruso. On Sunday he will be performing songs from
Italy with an orchestra. The exact times are to be announced.
The San Pedro HS Marching Band and the San Pedro ROTC have been invited to perform. Time and date are still TBA.
